Verwood RUFC was formed in 1994. There had been considerable debate
over the years about forming a Junior Section. The Club owes its foundation
to Dave Hockaday who was instrumental in making it happen. The fulcrum
was the first School's liaison at Hillside First School in May 2002 followed
by the Summer Academy. The section started on Sunday 6th October 2002.
